There is something remarkable about South Africa’s homegrown talent. It seems like they’ve been showered with not one, but multiple skills and talents. The magnificent, Cara Frew, is no exception to the rule.
She realized her dream of becoming an artist at the tender age of seven. With her long blonde hair, alluring eyes and fierce physique, she looks the part as well. If you thought this Nightengale-beauty spends all of her time on stage, you’d be surprised to hear that she formed part of the SA Showjumping team that took part in the World Equestrian Games back in 2010. As the only female in the team, Cara showed her will to succeed and determination to chase everything she puts her mind to.
Cara has now found her place in the spotlight, and what makes her great, is the pure, sincere sound in her voice. This bright-eyed beauty’s art can mostly be categorized in the ‘Pop’ genre but she
also explores Electronic Dance Music, should she feel adventurous.
She has worked with many well-known professionals in the local and international music scene. One of her first singles, Hide and Seek was produced by Locnville’s, Andrew and Brian Chaplin.
Cara believes that music is the soundtrack to our lives, and she aims to influence and inspire just like the artists that inspired her to embark on this journey. It is her humble nature, and positive attitude that makes her a dream to work with, as mentioned by Black Coffee (whom she also recently partnered with):
“I’ve worked with a lot of professionals in the industry and Cara holds her own among the best. She is a big talent with drive, determination and work ethic. She’s a star”.

During September 2014 she released her first EP Album, entitled Frozen which she explains is inspired by the likes of Lana Del Rey, London Grammar and Coldplay. Keep your eyes and ears open for her next offering to be released at the end of May 2015 after she completes her six week trip to LA.
Cara’s dreams of much more than just promoting herself and her art. She desired to create a movement, resulting in her management team developing what is now known as the #FrewCrew that’s focused on supporting the underdog, unlocking individual talents and inspiring others to reach their goals.
