So here is the post that everyone has been asking about, all the pictures of the J&B MET! I AM JUST WARNING YOU, THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES! : )
I had my dress made by Melissa, she has a label called Pony, Pony, she has never designed anything for me before, she was recommended to me by my friend Lara,the end result was amazing, I am soooo happy with my dress!!! I told her what I wanted and she delivered and more, she is amazing the way she designed my dress to fit me perfectly! If anyone needs a dress designed, call her- I have never had so many compliments about a dress as I did that day! You will definitely see me wearing more of her fabulous designs in the future!
Anyway a day at the races is not complete without some type of hair piece, I chose to use a whole bunch of different pieces in different colours and I am happy to say that it stayed on my head even though it was very windy!
It was Melissas idea to add the roses, it ended the dress off perfectly.
We arrived at the MET to find that it was very windy compared to when we left, thank goodness we were in the VIP JET LOUNGE as we were sheltered from the wind. The Jet Lounge was amazing, we had a choice of Sushi, gourmet burgers and drinks on the house, so I knew it was going to be a fantastic day!
Here I am with my friend Sianna, whom you have all met before, what you don’t know about her is that she is the newly appointed fashion editor of Aliyana magazine, so she was there with her photographer meeting celebs and taking pics. We spent most of the day together as I know alot of the people she wanted to interview. We seemed to draw quite a crowd with her photographer and mine(aka Mike) every where we went people were just randomly taking pictures of us,it was so weird : )
We bumped into Zizo Beda, from the stunning entertainment programme Selimathunzi, she was doing her thing behind the TV cameras and interviewing all the celebs.

After chatting on twitter for what seems like forever, I finally got a chance to meet the gorgeous Bridget Masinga face to face. She had said to me that if I see he I must just grab her as she was presenting that day for ALL ACCESS- a stunning TV entertainment programme on MNET. So in between everything I saw her, grabbed her and in betweeen all the chatting her TV crew started filming us while Mike was taking pictures! She is such a sweetie, so it was lovely to meet her.

Vanessa Haywood from the very famous SA film District 9 was one of the finalists, she looked amazing!

We spent quite alot of time towards the end of the day at the Good Hope FM tent, chatting and eating their delish muffins!

The after party at the MET, super famous SA band FLASH REPUBLIC and Roger Good and DJ Fresh were all there. They played in the evening and the stage was outside so we never really got a chance to take lots of after party pictures.
Yes I am twittering, it was so late by then, I was so tired!

This was a day at the races that I will never forget, I had so much fun with old and new friends, the fashion was amazing and the event was brilliant, I cant wait for next year!
