I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! I have had another busy one, went to a event on Friday night which was awesome and yes I took pictures and I will do a post on it very soon : ) It felt kind of nice being the only person in the whole club wearing over the knee boots and everyone was very intrigued as to where I got them.

Yesterday we went for our weekly shopping and coffee date and I decided to add a quirky touch to my rock chic outfit, it was so nice to wear jeans for a change and now I am so looking forward to winter as you can see by my previous post  : )

Its still summer here  in SA and from April it will be Autumn. Just like all my fabulous readers that are still in winter and cannot wait for summer, I too cannot wait….for winter though.

We have had a very hot summer and I know everyone here wants a change of season, so heres some of  my Autumn streetstyle inspiration.

Shoulder pads,everything faux fur and faux leather  mixed with hats, circle scarfs,over the knee boots and capes mixed with hot chocolate,warm food and red wine while listening to the rain= winter bliss!

For all my fabulous overseas readers who are tired of winter, I cant wait to see how you guys are going to rock all the hot Spring trends!  : )

It has been more than a week since my last post as I had to wait till my new blog lay out was finished before I could post anything new and then we had internet problems for a while.  Thank goodness everything has been sorted and I can get back to blogging and commenting regularly. So once I have done this post I am off to catch up on all your amazing blogs, if it takes me a couple of days, bear with me please, I have lots to get through  : )

If you go through my blog you will see all the changes and new additions that I am still working on, I expected to be finished with everything by now, there are still quite a few chnages I am working on, so if it does not look that different, you know why.

While going through my blog and all my inspiration folders I realised that my life has become so busy that all the DIYS I planned to do have been put by the waist side, I used to love adding something different to all the items I wore so from now on I will be doing alot more DIYS and I will do posts on them as well.

I have been really busy lately working on my blog and alot will be changing in the next couple of months, I cant say anything till its finalized but I have also been calibrating with my dear friend Sianna on a very special project, all will be revealed soon : )

Anyway, I have lots of posts to catch up on…recently I met up with the fabulous Niki, who also has a blog. We went to Beluga for dinner and cocktails, it was lots of fun to meet Niki in person after chatting to her through twitter. We had lots of fun and the guys got to know each other too. The night before I had gone to a cloudnine launch and they straightened my hair for me with the cloudnine flat iron. I could not believe that my hair stayed perfectly straight through out the next day and evening.

I decided to wear my striped navy striped dress BACK TO FRONT as I loved the bow detail at the back and stud open toe stud boots, it was quite chilly towards the end of the evening so I wore my faux fur coat. It has been really hot here, to the point that I cant wait for Autumn, especially since I found my over the knee boots I have been searching 2 years for!

I missed chatting to all of you every day through our blogs, so thank you to all my new and loyal readers, I also plan on posting more often, either way its good to be back!

A while ago I won a very stylish limited edition Steri Stumpie inspired LEVIS tee from the super fabulous  Robyn, I have actually worn it a few times I have just never worn it for a outfit post. I luv to wear it off the shoulder, mix it up a bit  and add a few accessories.

I hope everyone had a really good Valentines day, single or not its still another day to celebrate. I spent the day with my mom having lunch at a lovely restaurant under the trees, enjoying some much needed mom and daughter time. I was politely” kicked” out the house for the day by Mike and told to only come back at 7 that evening looking fabulous! So I arrived home at 7 and was greeted by Mike in a suite with roses, candles everywhere, a beautifully set up dinner table in the middle of our lounge and a bottle of chilled Pongratz in the fridge. It was so stunning, we had a lovely meal and it was really nice to sit and just chat for a change as we are always so busy.

Amy gave me the Beautiful Blogger award and upon accepting the award I have to post 7 interesting things about myself

1. I write down lists all the time of everything , I have fashion notebooks everywhere

2. I originally wanted to study to be a interior decorator, but seeing as though I suck at drawing I kind of gave up, although I still love to decorate everything.

3. I have done modern dancing and ballet my whole life

4. I would love to learn how to design shoes or handbags

5. I have had a obsession with faux fur since I was really young, jackets, hats, pillows, throws etc

6. I am petrified of heights, yet I love flying… dont ask me why.

7. I used to dislike the colour grey, now I cant imagine not wearing something grey every day
