WHAT TO WEAR TO THE VEUVE CLICQUOT MASTERS 2013

zimbo2

1. DRESS

The peplum style is still very on trend so a peplum dress will be stylish and chic and a maxi dress is always a winner in bright colours or soft pastels

2. HANDBAG

With any 5 star polo event a clutch is a must and the bigger clutches are very on trend right now.

3.HATS

The Veuve Clicquot Masters would not be complete without a hat or a head accessory. Wide brim hats look amazing with little dresses but if you shy away from hats then a head accessory with feathers will add just the right touch.

4.SHOES

This is the time that you can wear your cab to bar heels, the higher the better except if you are going to be walking on the grass then its best to wear a small peep toe. If you plan on dancing at the after party then I suggest you bring a extra pair of stylish but comfortable heels to dance in that you can leave in your car and fetch when you are ready to party the night away.

Here are a few stylish examples of what to wear  from Forever New..

TIPS from fashionjazz…

1. The champagne is amazing so make sure you can enjoy yourself and get home safely with Sober Chauffeur.

2. Bring sunscreen because even though you will be in the shade, it gets hot and you can still burn.

3. If you are in doubt of what to wear or think your outfit looks a little bland, put your hair in a bun, don red lipstick and your most stylish shades from Luxottica and you are ready for one of the best events on the Cape Town social calender.

SABC 3 is the official broadcast partner for this year’s event and expected
to draw more than 1,200 guests. The Veuve Clicquot Masters Cape Town 2013
has prestigious sponsors on board this year, such as Blackberry, Elizabeth
Arden, Jenni Button, Hilton Weiner, Avantgarde, Mango Airlines, Haagen-Dazs
and Vitamin Water to ensure that guests have a truly unforgettable day.

I love peplum – so glad its continuing to be so much in vogue. I watched a nice video recently on YouTube on organising a bag – it would come in very handy for a new clutch. I keep forgetting you’re seasons are opposite. It’s mid-winter here so I guess it’s mid-summer there, hence the sunblock and a wide brim hat would be nice. Since I don’t drink I guess I’d be a designated driver at one of those events if they let me in. I still haven’t figured out how people walk in those sky-high heels. I had enough trouble with 2 or 3 inch heels. If I ever make it to South Africa I’ll look for those events. They look like they’d be fun.
