Hi guys, shew what a month, what a year…firstly HUGE thank you for the love and support in my last post ….
My amazing dad, my hero my everything passed away peacefully last week Monday the 14th August after 9 months of fighting the beast otherwise known as the rarest form of cancer in the world. I write these words with tears in my eyes, I am devastated even though I was expecting it, I was very close to my dad and I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that he wont be at my wedding nor be around when I have kids and that is heartbreaking….
ANYWAY, my dad was a huge go getter, he celebrated life, he would try anything once and he was always laughing...we are really similar except for the fact that he loved working out as well and I dont lol but in honour of my dad I have decided to make a few life changes. My dad was super healthy and fit and still he got ill so quickly, it was a huge life scare for me, so these changes are necessary.
You will probably never find me in the gym haha more like a yoga, calanetics or dance class (as I was a dancer for 2o years) but I am definitely spending more time in nature, walking, hiking and its been awesome healing. So expect to see more work out/nature/healthy eating posts but with a fashionjazz twist 😉 And to show I mean business I even ordered these cute work out leggings from the Shopbop sale which I CANNOT wait to get! 🙂
As you guys know my dad was diagnosed on my birthday 7th november 2016 so for 9 months as much as I tried to work, live my life…my life, work everything was put on hold and so out of balance..well as from now I am officially back for good. I need to start focusing more on myself, my work, my life, my relationship and make my dad proud, so this is a huge catch up post of the last few months that I have missed.
I have been attending some awesome events in Cape Town and JHB, thanks to Graham and his amazing job we have discovered some amazing hidden gems in Cape Town and the Western cape like ALPACA LOOM ( which has the cutest Apacas ever and yes I am going back to take more pics so you guys can see their gorgeous faces and the babies ) JACOBS BAY BACKPACKERS, SHARK CAGE DIVING as well as the SOETES AND SOUP Festival with DEETLEFS.
I also had microblading done on my eyebrows at STYLEBAR I have been documenting the process and will be doing a post dedicated to that, my brows look amazing, I would definitely recommend it 🙂 I have been shopping up at storm at SHOPBOP too, so expect more OUTFIT OF THE DAY posts too 😉
Last but not least, alot of you have been asking about Graham, how we met etc, I will be doing a post dedicated to that soon and I will be including him in more posts from now.
As for now, tonight we are attending the annual WELOVEWINE festival at Cape Gate you see last years post here, tomorrow is a small service/wake celebration in honour of my dad at my dads brothers house and tomorrow night a Gatsby themed birthday party 🙂
September is going to be a very busy month , we are going away twice, have quite a few events, 2 weddings which luckily I have this gorgeous dress organised for the one, the other one..I have yet to organise oops
Anyway, I did not expect to write an essay haha but I guess writing is always good for the soul , have awesome Friday and weekend my lovelies 🙂
These pictures are stunning.. the sleeves on that top are to die for. Looks like you have had a busy month for definite! Loving your blog too by the way, well done you for making it so amazing to read! x

Dear Jasna…. believe it or not, I sensed what happened, because you didn’t post for some days and the i knew. I am very sorry for your loss, really sorry. dads are the first guys in our lives, our heroes, the ones that really last when we have disappointments and the ones who really love is beyond everything. Of course you have tears when writing about him, but you know, just what you said, make him proud for sure. He will be, I am sure. And never forget that he is alive through you. I do believe in that! I am glad that you are strong and you have Graham’s support – the alpacas are sweet! And that you will go out and write – this is really good for the soul… Hope you have a nice weekend, despite all 🙁
