Last week Monday we were all invited to the Lanzerac hotel for the launch of the Run The Stakes. I was picked up and chauffeaur driven to the launch by Hertz Chauffear service which was fabulous! I arrived to a beautiful setting with cocktails and canapes under the trees and everyone was dressed in fashionable dresses or pants. After mingling a bit we were then taken inside to a beautiful setting where we had a 3 course lunch paired with different wines.
The dessert was macaroons and ice scream by the Ice Cream Ninjas which was so good!
The Pinotage was amazing, I had it with almost every meal…

Lanzerac Ready To Run Stakes, presented by Cape Thoroughbred Sales (CTS), will open the Western Cape’s horse racing season, and is set to become an annual highlight for all racing enthusiasts. It is going to be amazing, you cant miss it!
