Hello my lovelies, happy wine wednesday, I hope everyone is doing well ?
You guys know I LOVE exploring new wine farms , so I was beyond excited when KUNJANI WINES invited myself and a few selected media to spend the day at their beautiful wine wine farm and try out their new SPRING/SUMMER menu.
I have heard so much about this contempary wine boutique, so I was very excited especially since it was the first media outing I had been to since lockdown in January – so I knew it was going to be a good day out! 🙂
The moment I stepped into this beautiful wine farm I knew it was going to be special as I immediately felt at home, the owners Pia Watermeyer and Paul Barth are absolutely lovely and make you feel like part of the family.
We did a small wine tasting and I was blown away by their award winning wines, each wine has such a unique and full bodied flavour that can be enjoyed on its own or with any kind of food for any occasion.
Next up we got to sample a few dishes on their menu and as you can see by the pictures, the food was incredible, almost to pretty to eat haha and all thanks to Chef Lamek who is so creative with his dishes.
We were also lucky to take home 2 wines of our choice, so I was given the CHENIN BLANC and the CABERNET SAUVIGNON which I will be reviewing on the blog soon, because such special wines like these deserve their own post hehe 😉
Its not often you find such a special place like KUNJANI WINES , they are located on Bottelary road, so if you want to treat yourself to some delicious wine and food with the best atmosphere- go visit! 🙂
And if you feel like a weekend get away, they also have beautiful villas located on the farm which are not only are they super stylish, but so homely too.
