Happy Wine Wednesday lovelies 🙂
Recently Nederburg invited myself and other media to celebrate the launch of their Double Barrel Reserve Bordeaux- style blend , at their beautiful wine estate in Paarl. I knew it was going to be a fabulous day out, as I am a long time fan of Nederburg and their delicious food at the Manor restaurant never disappoints 🙂
We were served an array of dishes paired with a specific wine, but honestly the wine that stole the show was definitely the Double Barrel Reserve, it was so smooth and tasty and paired perfectly well with the fish I had.
I love that each dish was a collaboration with local food experts including Bosmanrichard of Richard Bosman Quality Cured Meats, Mmabatho of Emazulwini Restaurant Andrew Nel of Frankiefennermeatmerchants and Tapiwa Guzha of Tapi tapi Handmade African Ice Cream.
A huge thank you to the Nederburg for all the spoils, from being shuttled there and back, enjoying some good wine and food in the most beautiful garden, to connecting with familiar faces as well as new ones like Lana – all in all it was a really special day out 🙂
