My week in lockdown has been great , because the amazing peeps at Vondeling kindly gifted me a bottle of their Barrel Selection Merlot . I have heard so much about this special wine farm but have yet to visit nor taste any of their wines, so I was beyond excited to try this award winning Merlot 🙂
Well what can I say…. Graham and myself absolutely LOVED this wine! 🙂 The Maiden Vintage Merlot is so tasty, full bodied and absolutely delicious paired with food or on its own. With hints of black cherry, sweet raspberry and lavender making such a wonderful combination, its clear to see that wine maker Matthew Copeland loves Merlot as much as we do 😉
