Last week I went to see the Sleeping Beauty at the Artscape, it was only on for a week so if you did not see it, the you missed out! Fortunately there are 2 more shows left till the end of the year that you have to see as the Cape Town City Ballet are very talented.
The Cape Town City Ballet was accompanied by the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, the principal dancers Laura Rosenberg (Sleeping beauty) and Thomas Thorne (Prince Florimund)
who were supposed to dance that night, one of them was in a accident so Mami Fujii partnered with Ramiro Samón and gave us an incredible performance!
Well done to every dancer, they were all magnificent.
THE AFTER PARTY
We all enjoyed snacks and canapes while mingling with the dancers after the performance…
