How is everyones week going ? I am so happy its Friday tomorrow, I have been longing for a super chilled weekend and that is exactly what Graham and I will be doing for change 🙂 Movies and dinner on Friday, a braai with friends from America on Saturday and Sunday reviewing the new COL’CACCHIO restuarant in Stellenbosch…what is everyone else up to ?
Thank you for all the amazing comments on my last post I am very excited to be moving in with my boyfriend soon and yes its so good to be back to regular blogging, this post was supposed to be up yesterday but I had a few issues with my site and hopefully now its all sorted 🙂
So to start off, what do you guys think of this bra? Its a SPANX bra from INNER SECRETS which I was gifted last week and its not just a bra, there is obviously a meaning behind it…
INNERSECRETS asked me to be part of their campaign for October for breast cancer awareness, now obviously any form of cancer awareness holds deep to my heart after losing my dad 2 months ago to cancer, which by the way you guys have been so supportive about thank you!
They invited me for a proper bra fitting, so last week I went to their Waterfront store and was introduced to Tina ( a highly trained corsetieres) who was really helpful and really educated.
She also told me HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE BRA, so she measured me and got a few bras in different designs to try out. She was so friendly and after trying on quite a few, even bralettes (which if I had bigger boobs would look amazing on me haha) we settled on the strapless SPANX bra 🙂 I chose this bra because as you guys know, I live in off shoulder and unique tops in summer and I seriously needed a bra like this in my life, plus its SOOOOO soft and its nude so it will go with everything in my closet- BONUS 😉
I learnt so many tips from Tina, like did you know that you DONT need to take off your bra to wash it ? You can just wear it in the shower and clean it that way, take it off and leave it dry, apparently its way more gentle on the bra itself than handwashing and wringing etc .
You should also wear your bra on the outermost hook in the back, not in the middle as that stretches out the band faster and its better to put your bra on and scoop and swoop your boobs ( even small ones hehe ) into your bra from all angles to get a better fit.
I wore my new bra with my half shoulder top to a club launch called Cocoon on Saturday and wow, my boobs looked and felt amazing, I think everyone woman should value their boobs and with it being breast cancer awareness this month the campaign is spot on . So remember its just as important to have the correct bra size as much as it is having a clinical breast exam every one to three years starting at age 20 and every year starting at age 40 🙂

This is really so good it’s Friday and I am glad you will chill out with your boyfriend! You deserve it! The bra is nice, and it’s really important to have the right size.
