Pam from Fashionjazz reporting on another event
This year in the fashion world will be a busy one and it all kicked off with the Scoop International Fashion Show where fashion buyers from all over the world descend on various trade fairs to see what the designers & suppliers have for the coming seasons. Scoop is one of the biggest and this year was held at both the Saatchi Gallery, Duke of York Square, London and at Phillips Gallery, Victoria, London. It was a cold but very sunny day in January when I attended, but the venue looked lovely in the winter’s sunshine. The Saatchi gallery is spread over 2 floors, and the exhibitors ranged from independent designers to well known designers and the short distance away is the Phillips, spread over 3 floors. Sccop very kindly offered a free taxi service for attendees getting between both galleries
I was attending to review Pink Powder Jewellery, founded in 2004 and created by Vasso and distributed in more than 35 countries in over 300 luxury boutiques, department stores, museums, lifestyle shops, hotels, resorts and spas, and I must say that her creations are really beautiful. So colourful with styles to suit every taste, from the subtle and elegant to ethnic and bohemian styles. Its jewellery for every occasion, completely original.
I fell in love with this necklace and bracelet; it reminded me of being on warm sands, with the sea lapping at my feet. A fusion of macramé and semi-precious stones, the colours merge together so well, what’s not to love about it? I’d say it’s my breach dream jewellery!
I loved the bracelets on show they were funky & fun and would look great with almost any outfit, delicious colours.
Is your taste more bohemian or ethnic? Then Pink Powder could be for you, have a look at these fantastic necklaces, so original and so, so colourful, I love them!
These elegant necklaces also caught my eye, great for a more formal look, I hope you agree
Many thanks to Yanni & Vasso at Pink Powder who were in attendance at the Saatchi, they were so lovely and if you are interested in purchasing any of Vasso’s creations, then have a look at her website at here
Also I must say thanks to Scoop International staff for their assistance and the taxi transport between the Sattachi & Phillips galleries
Until next time and enjoy
