Recently I attended the LifeStraw launch held at Le Roi Beach club in Camps Bay. LifeStraw is a multi-award winning product launched by Aqua4Life, this chemical free micro-filtration system instantly converts contaminated water into safe drinking water.
Internationally and SABS tested LifeStraw removes up to 99.99999% of bacteria, protozoan cysts and turbidity from water.
The launch was attended by the whos who of Cape Town and we all enjoyed sushi platters which were amazing and got to mingle for a really good cause.
LifeStraw will be available to South African retail market end July 2014 in the forms of personal (filters up to 1000litres), Go (filters up to 1000litres) and Home unit (filters up to 4500litres).
Each product offers environmentally friendly, cost and energy saving solutions. Upon purchase of any LifeStraw product, Vestergaard contributes clean water for a child in Africa for the period of one year through their humanitarian Social Responsibility program.
