Saturday the 9th November 2013 will see the first Rockabilly festival in S.A hosted by the Dusty Rebels and The Bombshells which will take place at the Ostrich Farm in Cape Town.
There will be live performances from Them Tornados, The Damned Crows, The Pits, The Ratrod Cats, The Vodun Haunts, The Dixie Pricks with Ann Jangle, Longtime citizen, Lonesome Dave, The suitcase Hearts and Oh Mercy Djs Fred Spider, Rockabilly and Rythm Radio
There will be Burlesque shows, the Cape Town Rollergirls, a bike polo game, a art exhibition, tattoo artists, cars & bikes on show, hair and beauty artists to make you look rockabilly and clothing and accessories available.
One of the highlights of the festival will be the DICKIES DIRT TRACK, where festival goers can register their classic car or custom bike for a ride on a typical dusty track. True rebels will remember the iconic Dickies brand. Born in America as a rough and tough clothing brand, it was adopted by motor-heads who weren’t willing to compromise on style, all while getting the job done.
Red Bull will be supplying the sound track for the day accompanied by some of Dusty Rebels and the Bombshells finest DJs.
The track will be open from 12:00pm – 17:00pm.
