As you all know I have just moved into a new flat, a place to finally call

home. There is something so refreshing when it comes to moving and

acquiring new decor or starting a new routine or perhaps changing your

fragrance..

As with everything the start of Spring brings new colours, new routines, new products and new goals.

So when I  was asked to  do a review  on a new Spring fragrance I was beyond thrilled. As you all know I love anything designer, anything that’s beautiful and anything that signifies a new start and with spring around the corner….it was just exactly what I was looking for.

When I received the package the first thing I noticed was the bottle, it looks really classy and its the perfect colours for Spring. It smells so

summery and fresh yet has a really distinctive floral smell that is subtle and not overpowering.

I have worn it often and every time I do everyone around me asks me where I got it from, because I have been reviewing the perfume for a while, I know everyone is very intrigued……so I can finally say that its the

fabulous new Spring fragrance from Issey Miyake. I am totally in love with it!

Issey Miyake was spot on when he expressed that “a scent by Issey Miyake is an odour as simple and beautiful as the air we breathe”

It will be available from September and I give it the Fashionjazz stamp of approval as it fits neatly into your handbag and is the perfect accessory for a spring outfit : )

Special thank you to Lorelle and Angie for the fragrance : )

Recently we attended the launch of Italian brand Fornarina, they show cased the Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

I wore a stunning dress by the A-LIST Boutique, remember the DFS Fashion Show they did HERE, well Sianna and I were dressed by them for the evening. I totally fell in love with my dress as its really chic and comfortable and everyone wanted to know where I got it. I added the necklace also by the A-LIST to add a funky and colourful touch to an already amazing dress!

The Shoulder detail is my favourite part of the dress

Having one of the delish Fornarina cocktails in the VIP lounge

The luanch was held at the Upper East side Hotel, we were treated to tantalizing treats by the Hotel’s Executive chef Simon Kemp and a selection of interesting cocktails like Tequila mixed with rocket and apricot, supplied by Brand houses’ deluxe department.

No launch would be complete with out Charlys Bakery and their gorgeous cakes.

The decor of the hotel is amazing, I could have spent the entire night walking around the hotel.

We were entertained by the Black  Orchid Burlesque group before the fashion show.

Sorry for the delay in posts, I planned to do a new post on Sunday but with the long weekend, I could only post now.

Hope everyone had a fab weekend, I went to a stunning fashion launch which I will be posting next time, had a surprise visit from my dad, who was here for the weekend, so we went out for sushi and caught up, chilled with friends and I was spoilt by Mike with roses on Womans day and all in all I had a really nice long weekend.

I love pairing dresses with shirts and its safe to say I love this peach shirt with almost everything in my closet right now. To everyone who asked where I bought my military jacket from, it belonged to my mom from way back when : )

This is what I wore to the last DFS FASHION SHOW they show cased TASHKAYA who is a wonderfully fresh and eclectic fashion collection conceived by South African designer, Natasha Teplitsky.

I had met Natasha for coffee recently and she gave me a stunning scarf and grey pocket skirt from her collection so I knew what to expect, her clothes are really stunning…

Have a stunning  day my fashionistas!

A special thank you to Natasha for the fashion show pictures.

My first give away for my blog birthday month will be up in a couple of days…… : )

So its been a week since we moved in, all the boxes are unpacked and everything has its place, now there are just a few things we need here and there and then I can post pictures : )

We get so much more light now in our new place, which makes taking pictures a lot easier, so I  decided to take advantage of that recently.

I have had so many queries via comments and emails about my hair and hairstyles recently, well as you all may or may not know, my hair is actually really curly, as in spiral curls. I straighten my hair most days, but even though I straighten it I do like my curl, so when I am feeling lazy I wash it, comb out the curls to make it wavy and leave it to dry naturally.

Straightener wise I would definitely recommend the ghd straighteners they are by far the best on the market especially for hair like mine : )

I find that now my hair is longer my curls hang better and my hair stays straighter for longer.

This Month is my blogs birthday and I thought instead of just celebrating for one day, why not celebrate the whole month of August….so from next week I will be having a few give aways etc.

STYLE SCOOP

I realised that I have not posted a few of the posts I did I have written for Style scoop lately, so here are the ones I have missed : )
