We have decided that our place needs to be redecorated again, so on Saturday with the help of my friend Milani who also happens to be stunning interior decorater from Interior Images, we went searching for furniture, different fabrics and textures etc. I feel in luv with the different shades of faux fur we found, it  will look stunning when used  as pillows or a throw, although I can see it as a coat as well!!  : ) She gave us so much good advice with regrards to putting items and colours together,we are looking at mixing grey, black,cream and white together, to give the flat a really trendy but cosy feeling.I saw so many different chairs,pillows,couches,desks, throws, lamps,curtains all with such unique textures that I really love, so once we have made a mood board we will decide what we want, buy everything and redecorate. I am really looking forward to changing everything!

As u can see by my outfit summer is  on its way, lets hope its here to stay as I cant wait to  wear dresses and shorts WITHOUT stockings : )

On Friday we went to Sanlam SA fashion week, it was so divine! The photographer from the ELLE magazine took a picture of my boyfriend and I and we landed up sitting in the 2nd row so we had such a nice view of everyone. We tried to take pictures of every garment but only managed to take a few pics that were really clear. My favourite collection was by Christopher Strong, the shoulder detailing was amazing.

I would honestly wear the entire collection, I was so inspired by everything, I fell in love, this is definitely one designer to watch out for! I finally got to meet Robyn from the stunning fashion blog- STYLEGUIDECAPETOWN, spotted Jackie Burger from ELLE in the front row whom one day I hope to meet, shes a true style icon in every sense of the word! Above all I had a awesome time looking forward to the next fashion event.  PS here’s a picture of my amazing boyfriend who takes all the pictures – Thanks babe.

1.What is your current obsession?

Leopard, zebra and snake print, studs,denim and sequins!!

2.What is your horoscope and do you relate?

I am a Scorpio and I am true to my sign in every sense of the word. I am very passionate,loyal, stubborn and a complete perfectionist.

3.What are you wearing today?

black/4 card, grey3/4 top, black skinnies, leopard print pumps and lots of layers

4.What’s for dinner?

Probably a salad from Woolies

5.What’s your favorite decade, fashion wise?

I am huge fan of all of them as my style is so varied, I adore the 60′S MOD look, the 70′S BOHO and the 80′S are my fav.

6.What are your must haves for summer?

I luv layering my clothing no matter what season, so definately light cardis,waistcoats, dresses, shorts,denim, hats, big bags and sunglasses.

7.What would you love to be able to afford?

Lots of Jimmy Choo shoes- a whole closet full!!

8.What is your favorite piece of clothing from your own wardrobe?

My 4 faux fur coats and all my cardi that I can use to layer.

9.What is your dream job?

To work as a buyer or a  stylist  for a magazine.

10.What’s your favorite magazine?

I read soo many but my fav is the UK and SA ELLE magazines, Nylon, Jalouse and the UK Company.

11.What do you consider a fashion faux pas?

There aren’t that many in my book, I feel fashion is a huge expressions of our individuality, but if I had to say one it would be wearing a trendy fashion item that u clearly dont feel comfortable wearing and other people can see that.

12.Describe your personal style?

A mix of everything, rock, vintage, mixed with trendy and quirky. I like to wear outfits differently from how they are supposed to be worn or altering them.

14.What are you proud of?

The fact that I have overcome everything in my life I never thought I would have and I am so close to my goals and dreams.
