I hope everyone has had  a fabulous weekend, I am looking forward to some sort of normality next week after the hectic week I just had. I think a detox, gym and going to  bed early is exactly what is needed for the next week to prepare for my busy schedule in  June  : )

Anyway,we spent the day with friends Nelani and Tiaan at Fairview wine farm recently.

Fairview is known for their famous cheese and wine, I buy their cheese all the time, but I had never really had their wine before, so when Nelani and Tiaan asked us to go wine tasting, how could we resist

: )

We had lots of fun at the wine tasting and I was very impressed by the wine and how friendly the staff was.

We spent the entire day there and had a wonderful relaxing day under the trees.

We took some outfit pictures after lunch,I decided to mix peach, grey and cream together along with my DIY  watch pendant and my favourite headband for the day.

Remember the top I wore back wards HERE, well when I went to the launch of Twankey the champagne and oyster bar at the TAJ hotel, I decided to wear it the right way.

I paired it with sequins seeing as though it has been a while since I worn anything shiny : )

The black persian cat that  made his way into my pictures is called Mitch, he belongs to my mom and he has always liked the spotlight  : )

I had a very busy and hectic day at work, so going to the launch that evening and having champagne and oysters was the perfect way to end the day.

I went with my friend Steph and not only was there an abundance of oysters and champagne but I got to sample the cosmos, prawns, tuna and everything else they had on the menu.

Twankey is the perfect spot for after work drinks any time of the week and I can highly recommend their food, drinks and of course the oysters : )

So as you guys can see I am back to posting more often, thanks to finally organising my busy schedule, my blog and getting a bit of a balance : )

One of my favouritte things to do on a Sunday is to go and have late breakfast or lunch and coffee some where quiet.

My boy is the one who has an an incredibly sweet tooth where as I have a salty tooth. Everytime we go to the mini shopping centre opposite our place we walk past a quant little coffee shop called The Silver Spoon and we always see the most beautiful mini cakes, they are like a work of art.

So one Sunday recently we went to try out the Siver Spoon and indulge in the sweet side of life. I wore my peach skirt mixed with faux leather which was the perfect ensemble  for cake and coffee.

I had a cafe latte which was really good and I chose the chocolate and cognac cake and Mike had a chocolate and orange cake

The mini cakes were divine!!!

We sat there for a couple of hours, having coffee and cake and chatting, the staff was really friendly allowing us to take pictures of the decor and the food.

All in all , it was a blissfull morning, after all the cake we decided to go for awalk around the neighbourhood and take some pictures.

I hope everyone is having a  fab week so far, I have been super busy with all the usual stuff and I am working on a few new things too…watch this space  : )

Recently I was invited to the launch of 36 Boutiques- remember the fabulous post I did on them here…..well I attended their official opening.

I was treated to an afternoon of champagne, the most divine canapes, I got to meet all the fashion insiders and of course I met the fabulous people behind 36 Boutiques!

Mike usually attends most of the events/launch with me and takes all the pictures, I had such a good time I forgot to take a lot of pictures of everyone that was there, but luckily  you can see ALL the pics from the launch on the 36 Boutiques Face book page HERE

I originally wore my faux leather pants  with my outfit, but it was quite hot when I arrived at the event that I changed in to black skinnies.

When I got back from the launch though which was fairly early as it was in the afternoon  Mike and I decided to grab a quick evening take away coffee across the road from our place which was the perfect opportunity to wear  my faux leather pants again! I LIVE in my faux leather pants in winter as you will see in the next few months  : )

I wore my vintage military jacket with stripes and my leopard print scarf.

A big thank you to Nicky,Tarryn and the entire team behind 36 Boutiques, it was so nice meeting everyone, I felt so welcomed and I look forward to seeing all of you  again soon : )
