Recently I attended the Miss World Cocktail dinner at the One & Only with Uyanda Mbuli.
I decided to wear my sequin blazer with a zebra print bustier shoulder top, satin pants and gladiators, it was comfortable yet really chic for the event, Mike and I decided to take the outfit pics right outside the hotel and after a while we gathered quite a crowd watching us for some reason : )
It was a evening of champagne, cocktails, meeting some of the top SA celebs and designers and spending the evening with Uyanda.
I had a fabulous time, the only problem is that I took a small camera with me to put in my clutch as my other camera that I always use was to big to take with so unfortunately I could only take a few pics till Mike joined me much later. I met so many people but with the camera I used all the pictures I took hardly came out so I dont have alot of pictures of the venue and everyone like I always do. Mike only joined me much later and by that time the party was calming down and all the celebs had left. Grant from PEOPLE Mag took pics of Uyanda and I together, but they did not come out to well because of my camera and the lighting, I am never going to another event with out my professional one : )

I did manage to take some pics of her Jimmy Choo shoes, she has sooo many shoes and clothes and the most amazing style!! She has a clothing label called DFC- Dimond Face Couture, have a look at her website and you will see all the amazing clothes she designs!! She even designed some of the dresses for Miss World.

I ran into a friend of mine that I have not seen for a long time, SA celeb Vanessa Marawa, (she won Survivor SA and now hosts a TV programmecalled The Power Within ) so it was really nice to catch up with her.
One thing I realised going to an event with out Mike is that he really is amazing with all the pictures he takes, I forget to take pictures because I am chatting all the time, but he always manages to get everything done, so thank you babe, you really help me with everything! : )
So I think I have finally caught up with all my posts and now I have more to post from last week, but that will only be on Sunday as I have a really busy weekend with family, birthdays, Christmas parties etc

My best friend lived in South Africa for a year and I always wanted to visit. All of your fun photos and events reaffirm that for me. I love that zebra top, but those satin pants are totally my favorite part about this outfit – so cool!

Jasna, wow, thanks for sharing all of that with us, you really went through a lot of trouble doing it. One thing about you, you always look stunning, stylish and elegant. This event was no exception. I have always been fascinated by Michelle Mclean, she is from Namibia if I am not mistaken. A truly beautiful woman.

So Fab!! I love the One and Only! I went to the One and Only in Cabo for my honeymoon and it was BEYOND luxurious and heavenly….great blog!
